DESCRIPTION:Pre-K through Senior High school are encouraged to get through the winter blues by reading with a buddy. Stuffed friends are available for adoption at the Benedek Memorial Library starting February 19\, through March 9\, 2024. Each child who adopts a reading buddy will pledge to read for 14 hours\, or 840 minutes\, over 4 weeks. The Reading Challenge starts February 19\, runs through March 15 with a celebration and prize drawing on March 16 at 12 pm. Participants will be able to earn raffle tickets\, brag tags\, and free books.
