
While working on creative summer endeavors, remember to add color to your life with reading! Take on the Summer Read Challenge to read for 1200 minutes (20 hours) over the six weeks of the Summer Read Plus program. Sign up starts on June 28 at the library.

Rules for the Summer Read Challenge:
- Read what you want to read.
- Reading materials include: print books, e-books, audio books (CDs or downloadable, such as Libby), and magazine articles.
- What cannot be counted, podcasts, unpublished items, watching movies and other non-printed items.
- Readers need to keep a log with title, time spent reading, and dates. Logs available at the library or download here.
- Please come to the library, with your log to turn in minutes throughout the program. Final minutes must be turned in at the library by 6:00 pm August 8.

Reading rewards participants with:
- A free book at signup, every five hours and at completion of challenge.
- Raffle tickets every two hours.
- Brag tags for every two hours of reading for young people (4-13 year olds, while supplies last).
