Pre-K through Senior High school are encouraged to get through the winter blues by reading with a buddy. Stuffed friends are available for adoption at the Benedek Memorial Library starting February 19, through March 9, 2024. Each child who adopts a reading buddy will pledge to read for 14 hours, or 840 minutes, over 4 weeks. The Reading Challenge starts February 19, runs through March 15 with a celebration and prize drawing on March 16 at 12 pm. Participants will be able to earn raffle tickets, brag tags, and free books.
