Did you know you can access the library even when it is closed? The E-Library tab is the doorway to the digital library that is available all the time for you to be able to borrow digital books, audio books and stream movies, music, or find information from many different electronic sources. You just need your library card number and your pin number for access. (Don’t know your pin, or want to reset you pin, visit us, call us at (607)583-4426 or email us: savona@stls.org.) Click on “Outlook” under the E-Library drop down menu, and you are able to borrow digital books, audio books and stream movies. Through Southern Tier Library System, the Savona Free Library brings you Freegal, a music database offering the ability to stream music in playlists, or as full albums. You will also get to download three free songs a week to keep. But there are more things you can have access to in our digital library. For your research needs you can search digital databases for magazine, newspaper, and journal articles, under “Library Databases”. So when you have a need to get information you can look in the databases any time day or night. Having a hard time trying to find some information? Try the “Virtual Reference” desk. You can ask a question about finding information and within 48 hours a virtual librarian will get back to you with the best sources for finding the information you are looking for. There are many things you can find and do here on the Savona Free Library website.
