Add to your summer pleasures by reading for fun!  Take on the Summer Read Challenge to read for 1200 minutes (20 hours) over the six weeks of the Summer Read Plus program.  Sign up starts on June 27th at the library. 

Rules for the Summer Read Challenge:  

    1. Read what you want to read. 

    2. Reading materials include:  print books, e-books, audio books (CDs or      

        downloadable, such as Libby), and magazine articles. 

   3.  What cannot be counted: podcasts, unpublished items, watching movies and  

         other non-printed items. 

   4.  Readers need to keep a log (provided by the library) with title, time spent reading  

         with dates.   

   5.  Please come to the library with your log to turn in minutes throughout the  

        program.  Final minutes MUST be turned in at the library by 6:00 pm, 8/7/2026. 

Reading rewards participants with:  

1. Free books at sign up, every five hours and at your completion of the challenge. 

2. Raffle tickets for every two hours of reading that you may use to enter the prize drawings of your choosing. Click to see what raffle prizes are available.

3. Brag tags for every two hours of reading for young people (ages 4 – 13, while supplies last.)
