Starting June 27, 2026, at 12:00 pm – Summer Read Plus Sign-Up Party!
Take on the reading challenge of 1200 minutes (20 hours) over a six-week period. The reading challenge is open to all ages including adults and senior citizens. You will earn free books and tickets at a chance to win raffle prizes of your choice. Kids will also earn brag tag along their reading journey. For more information go to our rules page.
There will be events held each week for all ages. There will be drop in crafts for kids, but any age can enjoy the craft (including young at heart adults). Coffee hour takes place every Saturday starting at 9:30 am. Creative Community sketchbook practice every Wednesday night 5:30 – 7:00 pm. The Savona Community Events Committee will have an Afternoon With the Band featuring the Sam Pallet Band. This event is free to attend; food will be available for purchase. Bring your own lawn chair to enjoy an afternoon of music. There will be many more events throughout the six weeks, check our events page.
